Casa Vina is the perfect place to stay in Mendoza and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. I wish we had more time here as 2 nights went by quick. From start to finish, Josie and Freddy were super helpful, responsive and extremely kind and generous with their time. They helped us out with our itinerary and their recommendations were an absolute hit. We also did the cooking class and 5 course dinner and it was the highlight of our time in Mendoza as both Josie and Freddy are extremely talented chefs and wine experts. If you are looking for an escape to mendoza and josie's place is available - book it ASAP! This was the best decision we made on our trip, hands down. Not only were they excellent airbnb hosts, but they helped us plan our trip as well by helping to plan and arrange wine tastings at local wineries and setting us up with a safe driver for the weekend to bring us to wineries. As hosts, Josie and Freddy were a delight to get to know and they were super accomodating. They are also an extremely talented chef and pastry chef pair, which made for amazing breakfasts and homecooked meals. If you have a chance, definitely do the dinner at Casa Vina! These two could be running their own fined dining menu. we were blown away by the quality of the meal and how knowledgeable they were about wine pairing with the meal.The house is very nice, just as pictured. Amazing experience. We enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts who provide outstanding personal attention.Josie provided lots of recommendations and assistance to make our stay memorable. Her talented husband cooked us a unique meal and made sure we felt at home in their beautiful property.Josie was always available to answer questions and she is a consummate professional and a pastry chef! We had an outstanding stay at Josie and Freddy’s home. From its beautiful design and spacious landscaping, to the relaxing pool, to the homemade breakfast, our only regret was not spending more time in the Uco Valley. O espaço de Josefina é maravilhoso. Da piscina da casa, você avista as montanhas cobertas de gelo à distância.Josie e seu marido Freddy, um chef de cozinha excepcional, nos encantaram num jantar harmonizado de comemoração de 44 anos de casados meu e de minha esposa.Josefina, Josie, me ajudou com os traslados todos, organizou visitas que eu tinha escolhido e propôs outras nos dias faltantes.Nos proporcionou entre os passeios um dia incrível e inesquecível junto a um casal de seus amigos com passeio até próximo à cordilheira, com direito a fotos, vinhos, cavalos selvagens, pássaros, lebres e até observação de condor com binóculos. Wonderful stay at Casa Vina! The property is beautiful, well equipped and well located as a launching point for exploring bodegas in the Uco valley. Josie and Freddy were incredibly friendly and helped us planned visits, activities, and arrange a safe driver to truly make our trip unforgettable. Freddy and Josie’s Casa Viña was one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at, if not the best! From the moment we booked the place communication was excellent-from helping us book wine tours, lunch/dinners, transport for the whole stay, and even helping resolve some last minute cancellations due to weather. If you have the opportunity do get the prefix dinner where Freddy and Josie bring fine dining experience to Airbnb, they showcase their knowledge and expertise of food and wine in a great and unique experience. We enjoyed talking and getting to know them more during our stay. They provide a perfect balance of feeling like being at home with family/friends, but also hotel like privacy when needed. It surprised us how attentive to detail they are, anything you mention they will take note off and surprise you with it in a later moment. Casa Vina was an excellent choice for our first visit to the Mendoza area. Josie and Freddy were excellent hosts who take pride in their home, ensuring a great experience for their guests. They clearly love the Mendoza region and personally know many of the wine producers in and around Mendoza. We trusted Josie to put together an itinerary of wine visits, meals and other activities, which were educational, welcoming and delicious.The accommodation is an extension of their home, and you feel welcome in the shared living space, chatting with other guests, playing with the well-behaved dogs, and enjoying the views of the Andes.Should you choose to partake of a tasting dinner or daily breakfasts, you can count on fresh dishes prepared with items grown in the gardens on the property, tailored to your tastes.
